How we handle access and data
This page is maintained by AIcelerating to answer common security and privacy questions about Optima Pest Control. It describes our current practices — it is not a certification or an independent audit.
Access and authentication
Property management and provider users access Optima Pest Control through individual accounts. Access to request records is scoped to the properties and assignments a user is responsible for.
Resident data
Optima Pest Control collects the information needed to service a request: unit, contact details, pest and urgency responses, preparation status and access notes. We do not sell resident data or use it for advertising.
Provider access
Providers see the details of requests assigned to them. Access is limited to what a technician needs to complete and document the visit.
Data in transit
Traffic to Optima Pest Control web interfaces and forms is served over HTTPS.
Retention and deletion
Retention periods for request and service history are agreed with each property management customer. Deletion requests from a customer are handled under that agreement.
Privacy requests
Residents should contact their property management company first; we support our customers in responding to resident privacy requests.
Responsible disclosure
If you believe you have found a security issue, email security@optimapestcontrol.com with details so we can investigate. Please do not test against production data belonging to others.
Shared responsibility
AIcelerating is responsible for the Optima Pest Control application and the practices described above. Property management customers are responsible for who they grant access to, the routing and retention configuration they choose, and their own resident notifications. Providers are responsible for their licensing, insurance and on-site conduct.
We do not claim SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, PCI or GDPR certification. If your procurement process requires specific documentation, contact us and we'll tell you what we can provide today.
